About me
For as long as I can remember I have had a love of nature and the changes that happen from season to season. I would nearly always rather be outside than in; there's constantly something wonderful going on out there and I am never happier than when I am in the midst of it.
I have worked as a professional gardener for 20 years and combined that with teaching horticulture for the last 13. I am passionate about plants and I love to share my enthusiasm with others, so this, for me, is the perfect combination.
Although I would like to believe that I inspire others to have the same fascination for plants as I have, I realise that all I really do is introduce people to the plants and the plants do the inspiring for themselves. The more I learn about plants the more I am in awe and the more I want to pass my knowledge on. How fortunate we are, despite what we do to this world, to have nature all around us, keeping us alive, let's look after it.
I live in Kent and most of my work is in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. If you live further afield but find something that interests you in my website, get in touch, I may still be able to help and I would love to hear from you.
